The short version
Scooplist is a personal NYC ice cream guide. It does not require an account, does not sell personal data, and stores your saved shop activity on your device.
Information stored in the app
Scooplist saves your picks, tasted status, cone ratings, notes, custom shops, and hidden/deleted shop preferences in local app storage on your device. If you delete the app or clear site data, that information may be removed.
Location
If you allow location access, Scooplist uses your current location to show distance and nearby sorting. Your precise location is not stored by Scooplist and is not sold or shared for advertising.
Maps, search, and outside links
The iOS app can use Apple Maps features to search for places and display the map. The app also includes plain links to Google Maps, shop websites, and Instagram when available. Those outside services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
